I grew up in Gurnee, Il playing youth hockey in the Chicagoland area.  I went on to play four years at Ferris State University in Michigan.  After college I began my 12 year professional playing career.  I retired from playing and didn't waste any time jumping right back into the game as the assistant coach for the Milwaukee Admirals.  I love to play and teach the game to the next generation of future hockey players.  My wife  (Laina) and I have three children (Avery, Addison & Ryder) - and are excited for all three to grow in their hockey skills  too.
